Bruschi played his entire football career with the New England Patriots, winning several Super Bowls while becoming a fan favorite, and is currently an analyst with ESPN and advisor to the University of Arizona football team. He was filming an episode of “Outside the Fame” with Jayme Parker for the NESN regional sports network when the producers called up Lizotte.
“The people who sponsored the shoot are into disc golf and made it all happen. Pretty spontaneous thing,” said Lizotte. “I’m gonna be in the NESN segment but it’s mostly just about Tedy and what he does in his free time.”
Not to be outdone, Hailey King also had a chance to fling from Frisbees with a Super Bowl champion.
King said: “Ever since I was a baby, I watched A LOT of football games with my dad. My favorite team is the Packers (boo Bears), and i’ve probably watch every game in my life! 2011 was a very special year because that year I watched my favorite players win the Super bowl! It’s always been a dream of mine to play with a Packer player, and yesterday that came true. Yesterday I played with THE Evan Smith. Evan Smith was part of the crew who made my dreams come true when I was 9. 10 years later he came back and topped it off by playing a round with my good friend @wingzdiscgolf and I. I’m still in shock that I actually got to meet this man.It was amazing playing with him, he’s actually really good! With all that being said, i’m home and i’m going to take these next couple of days to reflect on my journey this year.”
