Michael Johansen Flick Putt Water Tower Lake Eureka Pro Worlds
Michael Johansen was having trouble getting his putter going during round one of the 2019 PDGA Pro World Championships. Maybe he just needed a bigger challenge.
Johansen’s drive on the 354-foot, uphill hole 12 that plays around the famed water tower at Lake Eureka finished obstructed by the curved base of the tower. After stepping out and taking a few glances at the basket, Johansen returned to his lie and quickly flicked in a blind 60-footer for the birdie 2.
The birdie moved Johansen to 2-under through 12 holes with three birdies and one bogey.
