Andrew Marwede left his primary manufacturer sponsor last week and today announced a deal with DGA for the 2022 season “and beyond.” DGA is based out of California but is molded and manufactured by Michigan company Discraft, Marwede’s home state.

“We’re thrilled to have Andrew on our team, and can’t wait to watch him in the 2022 season and beyond,” said DGA in a statement. “He’s already proven himself immensely capable just in the first few weeks of throwing DGA. We are proud to welcome him into the family and watch him continue growing as a player.”

Marwede becomes DGA’s most high-profile Open player, alongside Trevor Harbolt and Noah Meintsma. In 2021, he took Kyle Klein to a playoff at the Idlewild Open and had three more top five Elite Series finishes as well as seven B-tier victories. Marwede reached a career high rating of 1031 in April.
